Pomona, CA. – Keystone Automotive Industries (Nasdaq: KEYS) hosted its first ever vendor summit during the 2006 Keystone Business Conference in Denver, Colorado in late September.
“The summit was an opportunity for Keystone managers and executives to share their visions for the future of the company and the collision industry,” said Mary Kunz, Marketing Manager. “The business conference, which is held biennially, historically has included a vendor fair with key representatives available on-site to speak with Keystone managers. The summit was added this year both to honor vendors for their commitment to Keystone as well as to provide key information that will make our relationships even stronger.”
In addition to sharing Keystone’s outlook for the collision repair marketplace, the summit also allowed key suppliers to share their own strategies and initiatives. “Our goal is to always establish a partnership relationship with our suppliers and vendors,” stated Christopher Northup, Vice President of Marketing. “The best way to do this” he continued, “is to make sure communication channels are always open. A format like this really sets up the right environment for that.”
Keystone Automotive Industries, Inc. distributes its products primarily to collision repair shops through 136 distribution facilities, of which 22 serve as regional hubs, located in 38 states and Canada.
